  As one record label once declared '..and we don't do encores', BBR tried to live by that rule in delivering one EP by each band and making it the best we could.
  But some rules are mean't to be broken ?
  So...we welcome back Mandarinaduck! Who's debut EP on BBR was released 4 years ago and is still something of a watermark and quite a legendary shoegaze release.
  And they've only gone and done it again!!
  
  This stunning 4 track 7" EP comprises of 2 tracks from the digital album they released earlier in 2020, which floored me with its stripped back sound and focusing on incredible upbeat dreampop and their knack for gorgeous melodies. If you loved 'Theres Nothing To Cry About' off their debut 7" then this EP will be an absolute treat.
  Along with these 2 tracks are 2 brand new exclusive tracks recorded just for this EP! Now thats special.
  From the opening driving pop rush of 'Final Scene', the hazy looping melancholic shoegaze noisepop of 'Super Long Life' that builds its layers before fading away, the pure summer joy of 'Ten Song' with its cascading crystal guitars and closing with 'New Day', a gentle acoustic based song with flecks of bubbling guitars and keyboards....its a beautiful record.
  
  This beautiful EP comes housed in one of five numbered double sided sleeves and contains an 8 page booklet with a metalic gold designed cover containing photos from the band, a silver designed card as well as a sealed envelope containing a 5 track download code, BBR Letter, Mandarinaduck confetti in a pearlescent rainbow bag and 2 postcards.
